Is it dangerous to workout when eating too few calories?

I am a skinny man (18 years old) and eat around 1600-1800 calories a day. I recently got a calorie tracker app and just noticed it. I try to eat as much as I can (healthy food) but I don't seem to eat enough food. If I go to school I don't have time to have breakfast, so I eat bread for about 5 hours. If I try to eat a lot of food on the weekends, I still get about 1,800 calories (assuming I don't eat fast food, which I rarely eat). How do I eat more calories and get more proteins? How is your diet plan?

  1. I had similar issue. What helped me is drinking milk and smoothies between meals. For smoothies I use: banana, peanut butter, forrest berries, lemon, oats, almonds. I drink milk with a little bit of dark cocoa.

If you can’t eat more, drink more, it’s easier. Well at least for me.

  2. Add nuts into your diet, Solid amount of protein, good fats and packed with calories

Take a bag with you where you go and you can eat them on the go and in school. Most nuts will have around 500 calories/100grams

At home swap out water for milk

Seriously? How about getting out of bed 10 minutes earlier to prepare something? You mustnt be taking your working out very seriously at all if you can’t solve that complex riddle yourself.
